Easy, friendly movement for older adults — right where they live.

Steady & Strong brings short, gentle, chair-based sessions into your residence. No experience needed, every ability welcome.

The Program

Simple movement that helps residents stay steady and strong

Each session runs about 20–30 minutes and is built around a chair, focusing on gentle mobility and balance — the everyday movements that support confidence, independence, and fall prevention. It's relaxed, social, and easy to follow, with a seated option for every movement so no one is left out.

Move & feel better

Gentle movement supports mobility, circulation, balance, and mood — at an easy, comfortable pace.

Friendly & social

A warm group setting residents look forward to each week — connection that's good for wellbeing.

Everyone can join

The chair-based format removes the fear of falling, so almost every resident can take part.

Your volunteer

Hi, I'm Kaitlin

I'm an NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer in Toronto with hands-on experience in physiotherapy settings and adaptive, inclusive movement. I run Steady & Strong as a volunteer because I believe safe, friendly movement should be available to older adults of every ability — right where they live.

I lead every session personally, working alongside your care team so it's both welcoming and safe.
